Larry represents clients in an array of design disciplines and is primarily retained by clients and liability carriers to defend claims of professional negligence. 

A representative sampling of his work includes:  

• Obtained summary judgment in personal injury lawsuit filed in Beaumont, TX on design defect claims against an architect who designed a sports facility.
• Obtaining a complete defense award in favor of a MEP Engineer Client after a two-week arbitration proceeding. This 10-party dispute arose out of the design and construction of condominium units located on the top floors of a hotel in Fort Worth, Texas, amid allegations that the HVAC and plumbing systems were defectively designed by the firm’s client.   
• After a week-long trial in Travis County district court, securing a jury verdict finding no negligence on the part of the client, a major Texas civil engineering firm. 
• Successfully obtaining a dismissal of a structural engineer from a lawsuit in Dallas County involving claims of negligence, fraud and conspiracy. 
• Securing favorable settlements of claims against architects and engineers in lawsuits claiming breach of contract for allegedly defective conditions at construction sites. 

• Obtaining dismissal of a lawsuit against a civil engineer alleging negligence and construction defects. 
• Defending a multidistrict case involving claims against a director and officer in the oil and gas industry against claims of misappropriation of trade secrets, conversion, fraudulent transfer, conspiracy, and breach of fiduciary duty. The defense of this case included a two-week arbitration proceeding and was resolved prior to issuance of a Final Award. 
• Gaining a complete dismissal of a lawsuit alleging claims of misappropriation of trade secrets, conversion, fraudulent transfer, conspiracy, and breach of fiduciary duty and claiming more than $100 million in damages.
