In December 2018, CMW partners Dan Tostrud and Lindsey Wyrick obtained an arbitration award in favor of their law firm client. After a six-day arbitration hearing held in Dallas, Texas, the arbitrator denied the malpractice claims asserted against the law firm client.  The malpractice claims arose out of the law firm’s representation of the claimants in a complex probate matter that concluded with a five-week jury trial. The arbitrator also awarded CMW’s law firm client its unpaid contingency fee in full, plus attorneys’ fees.
