In August 2018, CMW partner Jonathan LaMendola, assisted by associate Jonathan Sterling, successfully defended a wrongful death claim brought against their client, a Texas healthcare provider, in district court in McClennan County, Waco, Texas.  The plaintiffs alleged that improper assessment and treatment by the healthcare provider client caused their mother’s death. After a week-long jury trial, and with only 15 minutes of deliberation, the jury returned a unanimous verdict for the defense.
