Landon Dutra

Landon J. Dutra is an associate attorney at Cobb Martinez Woodward focusing his practice on the defense of businesses and professionals across a broad range of civil litigation matters, including labor and employment, energy litigation, premises liability, commercial litigation, professional malpractice defense, and products liability defense.

Landon represents clients in both Texas state and federal court, handling matters through all stages of litigation. He has experience pursuing dispositive relief, including motions for summary judgment, and works closely with clients to develop proactive litigation strategies aimed at achieving favorable outcomes or early resolution.

Prior to joining Cobb Martinez Woodward, Landon began his career at Burford & Ryburn, L.L.P., which joined the firm in 2023. He earned his J.D. cum laude from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where he served as Online Articles Editor of the SMU International Law Review and competed on the Mack Kidd Administrative Law Moot Court team. He received his B.A. in Political Science cum laude from Baylor University where he was an honors college student in the Baylor Interdisciplinary Core.
