Daniel Ortega represents businesses and professionals in a broad range of litigation, including insurance defense, premises liability, commercial litigation, personal injury defense, professional liability defense, and landlord-tenant disputes. In each matter, he focuses on the client’s objectives and goals and strives to achieve the best result. Daniel earned his law degree from New England Law-Boston and his undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin.

Daniel’s practice primarily focuses on defending businesses against personal injury claims in state and federal courts across Texas. In joining the firm, he brought well-earned experience representing financial institutions and other clients in a wide variety of matters, including breach of contracts and guaranty agreements, employment and restrictive covenant matters, breach of fiduciary claims, suit on sworn account, and misappropriation of trade secrets. This work included serving as a member of a litigation team representing an energy company in a multi-district civil litigation and environmental lawsuit.
