Matt Last defends businesses and professionals in the legal, insurance, real estate, financial and medical sectors, among others. His areas of practice include:

Thoughtful, creative and determined, Matt enjoys the challenges and demands of litigation and trial work. Matt’s clients rely on his strong work ethic in all aspects of litigation, including case evaluation and strategy, discovery, depositions, motion practice, alternative dispute resolution, and trial. Matt also is experienced in civil appeals, including having worked at the Texas Supreme Court as an intern for Justice David Medina.  Having a strong business background and fully attuned to what it means to make a living as a professional, he finds it particularly rewarding to fight for and obtain successful results for his clients.

Matt appreciates the importance of volunteer service in the community and legal profession. Among other things, he mentors law students at University of North Texas Dallas College of Law as both an Affiliate Professor and a Mentor with the L.A. Bedford, Jr. Mentorship Program.
