Larry W. Johnson

As a member in Cobb Martinez Woodward PLLC, Larry Johnson represents clients in a wide range of legal matters primarily involving construction, professional liability and commercial litigation. He represents clients in both state and federal courts as well as in arbitration proceedings. For six consecutive years, Mr. Johnson has been named a Texas "Rising Star" by the publishers of Texas Monthly and Law & Politics Magazine.

Representative Matters

Successfully defended law firm in a Dallas County bench trial in which a former client alleged the firm had been negligent in failing to file an answer to a lawsuit brought against the client in Bexar County, Texas.

Defended securities brokerage firm in an arbitration claim in Oklahoma City in which a former customer alleged the firm had violated an agreement to protect the customer's accounts from future losses.

Obtained summary judgment on behalf of airline client sued for breach of airplane lease agreement. The judgment ruling denied claims against the client and provided relief on client counterclaims.
